Welcome to Benefuel, the world’s first decentralized, biodiesel production and distribution company.
At Benefuel we believe that increasing concerns over global warming, a surging worldwide demand for fuel and issues of national security will drive every country and region to seek ways to become more energy independent.
We aim to reshape today’s centralized production and distribution of fuel with a decentralized model that takes advantage of local feedstock and sells fuel directly to the largest diesel customers, thus eliminating transportation and supply chain inefficiencies.
Benefuel has designed the world’s most efficient and fully integrated biodiesel refining platform. Inspired by the environmentally sound approach to growing and consuming food locally our view is that fuel can also be made and consumed in a more efficient way.
Our business model of locating multiple, small refineries near the source of inputs and consumption creates a much more efficient way of producing and consuming fuel, as well as provides significant environmental advantages. It will also help alleviate the dependency on foreign oil and works towards our goal of energy independence.
Today Benefuel introduces the world’s most advanced biodiesel processing technology that employs state of the art, reusable solid (acid) catalyst refining technology in a small footprint, scalable, containerized plant, which dramatically improves operational capacity, supply chain economics and feedstock efficiencies.
Benefuel addresses several major problems in biodiesel today. Our technology platform enables us to:
- Process the broadest range of feedstocks with no pre-processing (up to 100% FFA’s).
- Eliminate the need for water washing or dry washing, as there is no caustic liquid catalyst to remove.
- Create an exceptionally high purity glycerin (98%+) resulting in significant economic benefits.
- Reduce the size of the plant to a portable micro-refinery. These refineries can be pre-configured and shipped ready to produce fuel.
- Eliminate the possibility of out of specification fuel with an in-line, continuous automated quality monitoring system connected through Internet technologies.
